Packing for a 10 day Paris trip!

PARIS

My BFF Nancy and I are going on a girls trip to Paris next week.  It will be super low key- nothing fancy-We found an adorable flat in the Marais district on Air BnB for less than $150 per night!   We are planning on going to the Marche aux Puces de St-Ouen (Flea Market) the new Picasso museum, Versailles, exploring the Marais district,  eating everything, and lots of cafe sitting!

Here is what I am wearing on the plane:

NYDJ skinny jeans, Aqualtalia boots, Azadeh black sweater, Burberry jacket.

I just packed and I thought I would share some photos of what I am taking.

I am using my 21 inch 4 wheel Lipault Paris carryon bag and my 19 in Lipault Paris weekend bag.  (Here they are completely full!)IMG_3184Here’s a photo of my weekend bag and all the stuff in it.

IMG_3179 I pack all my clothes in two Flight 001 Spacepaks  (underwear size)  I am amazed at how much I can pack in these.  I think I have too many clothes but it all fits!  I have a tote bag for shopping and picnics and a duffle to bring stuff home.  I always check it with all my clothes in it and put all my new purchases in my carry on to come home.

  1. Thanks for sharing. It seems you are taking more shoes than normal. What are the most comfortable for walking? Will it be cold and rainy? Have a fabulous time and be safe. Hugs

    • Hi Dar! Yes I am totally taking more shoes than usual- they are all super soft and squish so I threw them in. I always take a pair of Tom’s because I know if my feet hurt they are like slippers. The silver ballet flats and my “dress up” shoes and the boots are for rain. It is supposed to rain for 3-4 days 🙁 I bought the Coach loafers at DSW and they are driving mocs so hopefully good for walking-The boots are super comfy -I used to wear them as my inflight shoes!
If anything hurts I might just leave them in Paris!

  2. Thanks for this post Catherine. I’ve been meaning to tell you that after reading your post, I bought the Lipault small carry-on with wheels (19″) and the smaller weekend bag that slips onto the carry-on handle. when it’s extended. I am really happy with both purchases – super lightweight but both still pack an amazing amount. Encouraged me to cut back to just what I needed on a recent trip – worked like a charm!
